Using Haunt My House
These terms apply to your use of Haunt My House, an independent project operated through hauntmyhouse.app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. You must be able to agree to these terms under the laws that apply to you, with permission from a parent or guardian where required.
Accounts and public houses
Keep your Google account secure and use the service honestly. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Houses can be viewed by people with their links, and links can be shared further. Avoid posting private information about yourself or other people.
Your content
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You give Haunt My House permission to store, process, display, and deliver that content as needed to operate the features you use, including public house displays and delivery of messages to recipients. Only submit content you have the right to share. Our service name, site design, and original materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights.
Messages and moderation
Messages are intended to open for the house recipient on Halloween at the time shown by the service. Authorized administrators may review them earlier and remove inappropriate content. Do not submit threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, spam, unlawful content, impersonation, or someone else’s private information without permission. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or automate abusive submissions. Report concerns through Contact us or hauntmyhouseapp@gmail.com, including the relevant house link.
Availability and changes
We may update features, limit abusive activity, remove content, suspend access for violations, or discontinue the service. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or delivery at an exact moment. Keep your own copies of content important to you. Where reasonably practical, we will give notice of material changes or discontinuation.
Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees that it will be error-free or fit every purpose. You are responsible for how you use it and for content you submit. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
